The Nicks–Nunez posterior enlargement in the small aortic annulus: immediate–intermediate results

eComment: I have three questions concerning your article [1]. Firstly, did you treat the pericardial patch with glutaraldehyde or not? Secondly, how long did you follow the four cases in which you used pericardial patch for root enlargement? Were there any changes or aneurysm formation in these patches? Finally, I would like to know after this experience, do you recommend fresh autologous pericardium for all cases?
