Repair involved in situ replacement of the thoracic aneurysm using a rifampicin-soaked graft, primary repair of the esophagus, omental wrap and tube jejunostomy. This is the original report of the surgical repair of aortoesophageal fistula using a rifampicin-soaked graft.
