Tel.: +81-6-6833-5012; fax: +81-6-6872-7486 Tricuspid atresia (TA) coexisting with common arterial trunk (CAT) is extremely rare, and successful surgical treatment has been reported in only one case until now. We have recently performed surgical treatment for TA with CAT on a 6-year-old boy using the staged Fontan procedure.
